Pecan Pie

Ingredients


9-inch unbaked pie shell
1 and 1/4 cup dark corn syrup
1 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 eggs
1 cup pecan pieces

Directions

Cook corn syrup and brown sugar together until mixture begins to boil.

Remove from heat; stir in butter or margarine. Add 1/4 teaspoon salt. Cool.

Beat eggs and add to syrup mixture. Pour into 9-inch unbaked pastry shell. Sprinkle pecans on top of filling.

Bake in moderate oven (350 degrees) about 50 minutes or until done.
