Banana Split Cake
Ingredients
2 and 1/2 cups crushed graham cracker crumbs
1/2 stick butter
1/4 cup sugar
2 cups powder sugar
2 sticks butter or margarine (soften to room temperature)
2 large whole eggs
1 large can crushed pineapple (well drained)
5 large bananas
1 large container cool whip
1/2 cup walnut pieces (or chopped nuts of your choice)
12-20 maraschino cherries rinsed and drained
Directions
Melt 1/2 stick butter. Mix butter, graham cracker crumbs and 1/4 cup sugar. Press crumb mixture into a 9 X 13 inch glass dish. In large mixing bowl combine powder sugar, remaining butter and eggs. Beat for 15 minutes. Spred over cracker crumbs. Layer pineapple and sliced banana. Cover with cool whip and top with nuts and cherries. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving. Keep Refrigerated.
