Quiche Lorraine

Ingredients


1 unbaked deep dish pie shell
6 slices bacon, chopped
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 and 1/2 cups (6 oz) shredded Swiss cheese
1 can (12 oz) Carnation Evaporated Milk
3 large eggs, well beaten
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp ground black pepper
1/8 tsp ground nutmeg

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cook bacon in skillet until it starts to brown. Add onions and cook until bacon is crisp; drain. Sprinkle cheese in bottom of pie shell. Top with bacon and onions. Combine eggs, milk, salt, pepper and nutmeg in small bowl until well blended. Pour into pie shell and bake 30 minutes or until knife inserted into center comes out clean. Let cool five minutes before serving.
