New England Clam Chowder

Ingredients


2 cans chopped clams with juice
2 medium potatoes
2 tablespoons chopped onions
1/2 cup margarine
1/2 cup all purpose flour
4 cups half and half milk
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper

Directions

Peal and dice potatoes. Cook clams and vegetables in sauce pan until tender. Melt margarine in large sauce pan. Add flour; mix well. Add half and half milk and cook until thickened, stirring constantly. Add salt and pepper. Stir in clam mixture and cook until heated through.
