Bread Pudding
Ingredients
3/4 Loaf Stale French Bread
4 Eggs
1 and 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
3 Cups Milk
1 Cup Sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 Cup Raisins
2 Quart Baking Dish, buttered
Directions
Break the bread into medium pieces and moisten with one cup of milk. Let stand while beating eggs. Mix sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, salt, 2 cups of milk and raisins into eggs. Pour mixture over soaking bread and stir gently. Pour into buttered casserole dish. Place casserole in a pan of water and bake at 350 degrees approximately 3/4 to 1 hour or until a knife inserted into center comes out clean.
